NB-PT Casino Notes
Drop Us a Line
We like hearing from readers. Many of our entries started as a question someone sent in, and several have been improved because a reader spotted something we had missed. The quickest way to reach us is by email:
inbox@netbsd-pt.org
The form on this page does the same job in a different way. It opens the email program on your own device with your message already filled in, and nothing is sent until you press send there yourself.
Good reasons to write
- A term you would like explained. If a word on a betting slip or a feature in a slot leaves you puzzled, suggest it. An entry like what a same-game parlay is is exactly the kind of page a good question can lead to.
- A correction. Tell us the entry, the sentence and what you believe is wrong. How we handle reports is explained on When We Get a Fact Wrong.
- A question about an entry. If an explanation did not make sense, we would rather rewrite it than leave you guessing.
- Privacy requests. Anything covered by our Privacy Policy can be sent to the same address.
What we cannot help with
We are a small group of writers, not a gambling operator, a regulator or a legal service. We cannot look into a dispute with a casino or bookmaker, recover a payment, reopen an account or judge whether a bet was settled fairly. Those matters belong with the operator first and, if that fails, with the authority that licenses it.
We also do not give personal betting tips or tell anyone which game to play. And we will never ask for passwords, card numbers or account details, so please do not include them in a message.
When to expect a reply
We read every message. Replies usually take a few days, sometimes longer when several entries are being revised at once. Corrections are dealt with first, and suggestions for new entries are collected and worked through in batches, so an idea you send may appear some weeks later.
If you are worried about your gambling
Please do not wait for a reply from us. Our page Know When to Stop lists practical steps and explains how to find free, confidential support in your country.
Worth knowing before emailing
Answers to the questions we get most
A few things readers often ask before sending a message.
Can you tell me which bet or slot to choose?
No. We explain how products work and what they cost, but picking a game or a bet is a personal decision, and choosing not to play is always a valid answer.
Can you help with a problem at a casino or sportsbook?
We are writers, not a complaints service. Take the matter to the operator first, then to the authority named in its licence.
Will you explain a term that is not in the notebook yet?
Very likely. Suggestions for new entries are welcome, and the most requested ones are written first.
What happens to my email address afterwards?
Only while we are replying. It is never added to a list, and the details are in our privacy policy.
